The Church of San Francesco a Ripa is a place of great spirituality in the heart of Rome, in Trastevere. The beautiful Baroque Church preserves, in a corner of simplicity, the cell, today Sanctuary, where St. Francis was welcomed during the Roman days of papal visits. In the footsteps of the Saint, brother of the poor, the sick and lepers, the fraternity of Friars Minor of Ripa, along with many friends, lives by praying and taking care of a person in distress, sharing with them the house, the food and the Lord offers them every day.
The Church of San Francesco a Ripa Grande is a welcoming place, where the friars are always ready to meet you to exchange a kind word and a smile or, if you wish, to guide you on a more profound spiritual journey. Father Massimo Fusarelli

Father Massimo Fusarelli studied theology and then patristic, taught and carried out training activities for preaching. Above all, he worked in the initial and ongoing formation of the friars, in the pastoral care of vocations, as an assistant to secular institutes - responsible for the entire Order of Friars Minor for formation and studies. For several years he was a religious assistant of Franciscan Secular Institutes. He has performed institutional services for several Provinces in Italy, giving a contribution of presence and pastoral service to other friars also to Amatrice.
Friar Massimo is now parish priest of San Francesco a Ripa, guardian of the convent and responsible for the project of reception and rebirth of Ripa dei Settesoli.
